Default Make 15k armors green!

I have this great idea for 15k/FoW armors?
Why not make them with green colored names?
I mean, some of them doesn't have a skin yet right?
So that way, people can see they're 15k (in trade).
And it's just plainly neat for those who spent all that cash buying it!

There is nothing special about 15K armor other than being a money sink and different appearance. Perhaps they should be made with white lettering to piss all those who spent a fortune on them

Any opinions from people who actually have/want to have the 15k armors?
Please, no more opinions by people who doesn't have the excess money for one, and just pretends he doesn't like them:P
Yes, I know some says it's a waste of cash, but if they got 1000k for free, I'm sure even THEY would buy one.

You don't really trade 15k armors. They never leave your inventory, there isn't much point to changing how they display.

No, but won't SOMEONE agree that it would be neat to see green text when you mouse over a 15k armor?
And if you have BOTH a normal and a 15k armor, so you don't accidentally sell the 15k instead of the normal.
And cmon, it's not like it takes long for ANet to do this.

Thumbs up

As long as these green armors have extra attribs that can go along with any runes you put on them, i'd like to see that!

I'd like to see them in green, if only because it would make you feel special (notice greens are essentially nothing more than very good modded weapons, you can make the same/better suited for you) after spending 15k, though really I think it should be green + a very minor increase, like for the Gladiator, an extra energy per piece, or 90 armor value on Dragon, etc., though that deals with balance of accessibility, and the greenery would still be a good change.

And to MagLord, don't know how you are saying you want to "piss" on people who spent 15k on the armors, ArenaNet put them there for the purpose of people wasting money on them, it is a status symbol of playing long enough to be able to throw that away, it isn't as though they couldn't get to an area in order to buy regular armor if they can access the upgraded models.

Once again

Insert bad idea stamp here

THere is no need for all this green this green that stuff. Green is named items. You can't trade armor so there is no need. What the hell is the difference between green and blue text when looking at your own armor?

THat's just dumb.

Vangor, mag said piss ppl that bought 15k armor

meaning to piss them off. Not piss on them.

it's not a bad idea, at least not in the way people are making it sound. it's just a not-so-useful idea.

If they include inspecting people, which they should, then green names would be nice to see. I know how enamored I was with my character seeing most of him consumed for the first time in blues, and then in epics later on, for WoW, one way or another, people like to see colors on their characters, as much as you can buy a better common sword for far less than you can buy a gold sword, people will still trade looking for gold weapons for no apparent reason.

If you do this, make it away that divine favor works for the people that bought the collector edition. Something that under "certain" circumstances you can easily see.

If you were to apply this same logic to the "divine favor" I would be "glowing" all the time instead of when I'm doing emotes. And I did buy the collector's edition for the artbook and soundtrack (mixed feeling at 1st when direct soundcame out mind you).

An alt perspective anyway.
